Survival - Feeling Fine After Hard Week

Monday Check-in

135.6 lbs. (down)
52 - Pulse (up)

Status

Given all the miles I did, I am feeling fine. I am tired. No doubt about that, but nothing is crying out in anguish.

My knees noticed the week, but, forced with an unexpected day off thanks to the awful heat, humidity and pouring rain, I'm not too worried.

Yesterday my pulse = 47. A new low, but Monday morning did not compute.

Your pulse was 47? Umm, what does it mean when your pulse get's down to zero?

I don't quite know how to read a lower pulse. That is, what exactly does it indicate? Mine, even when I was entirely out of shape, has always been below 70.

With my gut still hanging off my sides and over my belt, I know the road to fitness has only just begun (can you hear Karen Carpenter singing in the background?). My pulse will go lower. Does it mean I will go faster?

Only running faster means I am going faster. :)

Strangely, on the other side, my upper pulse has gone higher than many people, up into the mid-220s when I have really pushed it. Today, the treadmill said it was 180.
